Winter 2025-2026 Newsletter

January’s Post meeting will take place on January 28th at 630pm. February’s Post meeting will take place on February 25th at 630pm. The Post Meeting Room has a safe and accessible entrance on the back corner of the Post building that any Post member can use with no questions asked.

The Post welcomes Scott Kvammen's recent ascension to Post Commander. Additionally, Jac Ridgway has moved up to Senior Vice Commander. While David Davis has stepped in to the Junior Vice Commander role.  The Post Quartermaster remains the same, while Past Post Commander Dan Gillett remains involved in an essential appointed position. The Post continues to wish Past Post Commander Russ Slate well as he focuses on his health.  

All other elected or appointed positions have been filled, but our next Post Election process will begin with the March 2026 Monthly Post Meeting. All potential new Post leaders are welcome to run for elected officer positions.

As a reminder, the Post continues to be a part of the Gun Show (April 10-April 12, 2026 at Westfair). The Post can always use more volunteers to relieve Ben Wiese, Scott Kvammen, myself, or others.  The Gun Show continues to be a key fundraiser for the Post, but the Gun Show also can not be our only major fundraiser.


The Post leadership is continuing to work on identifying events we can fundraise at to help our Post continue to gain visibility in the community. Volunteers will of course be needed at all events.
